Dante Fowler Jr. gets Rams off to quick start with scoop-and-score TD

PITTSBURGH -- Los Angeles Rams outside linebacker Dante Fowler Jr. made a heads-play in the opening series against the Pittsburgh Steelers when he picked up a bad snap, then returned it 26 yards for a touchdown to give the Rams a quick 7-0 lead 14 seconds into the game. The touchdown was the quickest the Rams had scored a touchdown since Oct. 15, 2017, when Pharoh Cooper took 14 seconds to return the opening kickoff for a touchdown against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

It was Fowler's first touchdown since he was drafted in 2015, as he continues to have a career-best season. Fowler has a career-high 6½ sacks and will try to add to that total against Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph today.
