Cameron Oliver has signed a 10-day contract with the Houston Rockets, league sources told ESPN

The American big-man, who's coming off his second season with the Cairns Taipans in Australia's NBL, is expected to suit up for the Rockets' final four games of the 2020-21 NBA regular season.

In 24 games with the Taipans this season, Oliver averaged 17.3 points, 10 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks per game. Oliver is signed with the Taipans for the 2021-22 NBL season.

The 24-year-old joins a Rockets team that sits at the bottom of the NBA standings with a 16-52 record.

Over the past two NBL seasons, Oliver has been one of the league's premier big-men, showing off elite athleticism while stretching out to beyond the three-point line.

With the signing, Oliver becomes the third NBL alum to sign in Houston, joining former Sydney Kings forward, Jae'Sean Tate, as well as the team's former head coach, Will Weaver.
