Germaine de Randamie began her professional fighting career in 2000. At the time, Aspen Ladd was just 5 years old.

When de Randamie became featherweight champion in 2017, Ladd wasn't even in the UFC yet.

But Ladd has won three fights since then to run her record to 8-0, and she will be seeking to remain unbeaten and score the biggest victory thus far in her career on Saturday when she faces the 35-year-old de Randamie (8-3) in the bantamweight main event of UFC Fight Night in Sacramento, California. The main card fights are on ESPN+, getting underway at 8 p.m. ET, with prelims also on ESPN+ at 5 p.m.

Also on the card: Sacramento's own Urijah Faber, a UFC Hall of Famer who retired as a fighter in 2016, returns to competition against 15-1 prospect Ricky Simon in the bantamweight co-main event. Faber (34-10) is 40 years old, while Simon is 26.

Another potential highlight fight is the featherweight showdown between 13-1 Mirsad Bektic and 14-2 Josh Emmett.
