Jerome joins Palace on loan

Crystal Palace have signed Stoke striker Cameron Jerome on loan for the remainder of the 2013/14 season.

The Potters confirmed the move in the early hours of Tuesday morning in what was one of the last moves to come out of a frantic transfer deadline day.

Stoke's signing of forward Marko Arnautovic from Werder Bremen on Monday is believed to have helped push Jerome towards a move to Selhurst Park.

It was a successful day for Palace, with Jerome joining Jack Hunt, Adrian Mariappa and Barry Bannan as the latest additions to Ian Holloway's side.

A statement on Stoke's official website read: "The club thanks Cameron for his efforts as a Stoke player and wishes him well at Selhurst Park."
