Parma 2-0 Livorno

Amauri scored twice as Parma overcame Livorno 2-0 to bring European football back to the Stadio Ennio Tardini.
The Gialloblu will play Europa League football next season after their Brazilian striker broke relegated Livorno's resolve to score twice in the second half and earn the three points that lifted Parma into sixth place on the final day.
It could have been so different, though. Victory at Fiorentina for Torino would have steered the Granata into Europe instead and, had Alessio Cerci not missed a stoppage-time penalty, they would have beaten Parma to the prize.
Roberto Donadoni's men headed into Sunday night's game under no illusions that their destiny might well be decided by results elsewhere.
Eighth-placed AC Milan, entertaining lowly Sassuolo, were also looking to capitalise on any fumbles from the two clubs immediately above them.
Torino's task was the toughest, though, as it came at the base of a Fiorentina team already comfortable in fourth place and particularly strong at home.
Parma found themselves hosting a Livorno side who were relegated last weekend after conceding their 75th goal of the season.
But try as they might, the Gialloblu could not break through the Livorno backline in the first half.
Luca Anania, making only his third appearance in goal for the Tuscans, was resolute and had the measure of Parma's best striker Antonio Cassano from the off.
He edged a one-on-one encounter with the Bari-born forward in the eighth minute and twice more foiled attacks involving the 31-year-old.
Jonathan Biabiany found Anania immovable when trying to turn home Ezequiel Schelotto's cross and allowed the young keeper to put him off later in the half when he was well-placed to hit the target.
Livorno's chances were limited before the interval, with Jonny Mosquera's surging run from deep inspiring the biggest cheer from the away fans before he was denied entry to the box by Gabriel Paletta.
At half-time it was also goalless in Florence, meaning sixth place was still available to Parma.
Cassano tested Anania with a weak header when play resumed.
The encouragement from the north stand grew louder as news filtered through that Fiorentina had taken the lead against Torino, but Milan's advantage over Sassuolo saw them briefly poised to reach Europe.
A Parma goal would rectify the situation, yet Marco Parolo failed to produce the goods when heading Marco Marchionni's corner wide of a post.
Amauri came through for the hosts in the 62nd minute.
Cassano lofted the ball into the six-yard box from the corner and Amauri rose highest to head Parma into the lead and into the last Europa League berth.
But over in Florence, Marcelo Larrondo soon equalised for Torino to temper expectations back at the Tardini.
Parma pushed hard for the second goal that would shore up their victory, but Parolo's cross-shot skipped through the area without finding a team-mate before Leandro Rinaudo swept the ball off Biabiany's feet.
Fiorentina pulled ahead once again thanks to Ante Rebic before Amauri edged Parma ever closer to continental football.
With 10 minutes to go, the Brazilian recovered well to tuck home the rebound after Anania parried his header from a corner.
Jasmin Kurtic's splendid free-kick levelled things up at Fiorentina and Parma were now hoping desperately that Torino ran out of steam at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.
The celebrations were put on ice for 60 agonising seconds after Gialloblu fans learned Torino had earned a penalty at the death.
And when Cerci's spot-kick was saved, Donadoni stormed on to the Tardini pitch to embrace his triumphant players.
ends

                      Livorno 0-1 Fiorentina

Fiorentina made sure they will play Europa League football next season after Juan Cuadrado's goal saw them claim a 1-0 win that secured fourth place in the Serie A table and relegated Livorno.
Colombia international Cuadrado scored a follow-up tap in just before the hour mark at the Stadio Armando Picchi to notch the only goal of the game against La Viola's Tuscan rivals.
Livorno finished the game with 10 men after Miguel Borja was shown a red card for a foul on Alberto Aquilani in the third minute of stoppage time.
The visitors had the lion's share of the chances in the first half, with Cuadrado denied by Livorno keeper Luca Anania in the second minute before Aquilani's 30-yard effort went inches wide of the left post.
Livorno had a good opportunity to score in the 27th minute when Luca Siligardi surged into the box from the right wing and found Ishak Belfodil, but the Algerian's close range header went over the bar.
At the other end, Josip Ilicic saw his free-kick go high over the bar before Djamel Mesbah's header was a weak effort which was easily saved by Antonio Rosato.
After the break, the home side went close when Silgardi's strike narrowly crept over the bar and they were left to rue their chances when Cuadrado finally broke the deadlock in the 58th minute.
The midfielder received a great ball from deep by Giuseppe Rossi and ran into the box where he pulled the trigger. Anania made the save but the Fiorentina man was on hand for the follow-up.
Rossi then squandered a chance set up by Cuadrado with Livorno's Emerson going close with a 25-yard free kick as the clock ticked down.
Tempers boiled over in stoppage time as Borja was shown a straight red card for fouling Fiorentina midfielder Aquilani with Livorno's fate already sealed.
ends

                        Udinese 5-3 Livorno

Three goals in 12 first-half minutes set Udinese on course for a 5-3 home rout of Serie A strugglers Livorno on Sunday.
The visitors looked like they were going to have a good afternoon when Paulo Sergio Betanin put them ahead in the 13th minute.
Udinese captain Antonio Di Natale missed an opportunity to equalise from the penalty spot but in the 19th minute he scored in open play.
Emmanuel Badu then put Udinese in front in the 21st minute only for Betanin to pull Livorno level before the half-hour mark.
Udinese hit back as Roberto Pereyra, Gabriel and Di Natale all found the net before half-time.
Djamel Mesbah cut the gap two minutes from time but Livorno fell to defeat and the foot of the table.
Livorno are four points adrift of safety with two games remaining, while Udinese's second win in seven games has lifted the Friuli outfit to 13th in the standings.
The Tuscan visitors had a promising start when Betanin's powerful free-kick beat Udinese goalkeeper Simone Scuffet.
Udinese could have drawn level in the 17th minute after Livorno defender Andrea Coda had brought down Maurizio Domizzi in the box but visiting goalkeeper Luca Anania guessed correctly and kept out Di Natale's spot-kick.
Di Natale made ammends shortly after when he got behind Bruno Fernandes' cross and smashed a five-yard effort past Anania.
Udinese went in front two minutes later when Fernandes set up Badu in the area and his right-footed shot beat Anania.
Livorno made it 2-2 when Betanin's curled free-kick beat Scuffet.
Udinese went back in front four minutes later when Livorno's defence left Pereyra unmarked in the box and he shot towards the far post to beat Anania.
The hosts showed no signs of slowing down and extended their lead with two further goals in the space of a minute.
Gabriel Silva got behind Allan's cross and drilled the ball past Anania and seconds later, Di Natale made it 5-2 when he easily got past his marker and hit a 12-yard shot into the bottom-right corner of goal.
Livorno showed more focus after the break but the damage was done.
They only managed to reduce the arrears when Mesbah shot from close range past Scuffet.
ends

                          Livorno 0-2 Lazio

Davide Nicola's return did not herald a change in fortunes for Livorno as they slipped to a 2-0 home defeat by Lazio in Serie A.
Nicola was handed the reins of the Tuscan outfit earlier this week after Domenico Di Carlo was sacked, returning just three months after being dismissed himself.
But a goal from Stefano Mauri and an Antonio Candreva penalty handed Lazio victory, boosting their European hopes and leaving Livorno still three points from safety with three games remaining.
Lazio nearly took the lead after only four minutes, but Mauri's volley was brilliantly saved by keeper Francesco Bardi.
At the other end Luca Siligardi shot narrowly over the bar, while Marco Biagianti's header was very well kept out by Etrit Berisha.
The visitors took the lead after 15 minutes thanks to a mistake from Bardi, who missed a cross, allowing captain Mauri to slot home.
Bardi made amends with a fine save to deny Lucas Biglia from long range and the Lazio defender then played his team into trouble by giving the ball away, but Michael Ciani produced a great tackle to halt Siligardi when he looked certain to score.
Livorno's hopes of taking anything from the game were severely dented five minutes into the second half when Leandro Rinaudo handled Candreva's cross, giving the Lazio midfielder the chance to score from the spot. He made no mistake.
Bardi kept his side just about in it with a terrific block from Ogenyi Onazi's close-range shot before again denying Candreva.
Livorno pushed forward late on, but neither Siligardi nor Emerson could find the net.
ends
