TOP STORY: Roma eyes Madrid's Ceballos

AS Roma manager Jose Mourinho is interested in a move for Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos, according to El Nacional.

Los Blancos reportedly value the midfielder at €20 million and while his former club Real Betis are also said to be interested, they would be unwilling to match that pricetag. Meanwhile, Mourinho is said to be keen on adding the Spain international to his squad as a "key" to his plans in the January transfer market.

Ceballos, 25, spent the past two seasons on-loan at Arsenal before returning to the Bernabeu this season. He joined up with Spain for the Olympics in the summer and suffered an ankle injury as his side went home with a silver medal. He is yet to return to action following his injury and is expected to be back in mid-November.

Roma have put in a huge investment with the aim of a return to Champions League football, already signing Tammy Abraham, Rui Patricio, Matias Vina, Eldor Shomurodov, Roger Ibanez and Bryan Reynolds.

However, losses to Lazio and Juventus in the league have shown more reinforcements could be necessary whilst a 6-1 defeat to Bodo/Glimt in the Europa Conference League has also brought criticism onto Mourinho.

Football London claims that both will exit for a combined £12m, but only if the respective clubs at which they are spending this season on loan, Marseille and Stuttgart, avoid relegation.

20.58 BST: PSG are eyeing Bayern Munich's Corentin Tolisso as a possible midfield option if they cannot land Paul Pogba next summer.

20.28 BST: Talks between Chelsea and defender Andreas Christensen over a new contract have stalled, according to Goal.

The two parties have reportedly not made any progress in two months. Chelsea's latest offer would extend the Denmark international for another four years -- with a club option of a fifth -- but would also mean he remains one of the club's lowest earners.

19.59 BST: Roma are looking to move on five players in January as Jose Mourinho attempts to overhaul his squad to compete at the top of Serie A.

Meanwhile, according to Calciomercato, Everton, Leicester, Milan and Juventus are keeping tabs on 29-year-old Isco, who is also a free agent next summer and could be set to leave los Blancos after nine seasons.

18.30 BST: Juventus hope to reduce the clause in Alvaro Morata's loan that would allow them to sign the 29-year-old permanently at the end of the season.

Mundo Deportivo reports the Serie A club intend to sign the Spain international after two seasons on loan from Atletico Madrid, but the current clause of €35m is more than they would be willing to part with.

18.02 BST: Newcastle have put Wolves captain Conor Coady at the top of their transfer target list, according to The Sun.

The Magpies have been linked with a flurry of players since being taken over at the start of October and the England international defender is desired, but it will not be an easy move to make; Wolves value the centre-back at over £20m.

17.33 BST: According to journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Real Madrid are attempting to sign Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland next summer.

Speaking to WettFreunde, the journalist said: "Haaland has a release clause of 75 million. It is normal for many clubs to try to get him. Real Madrid will try to get Haaland together with Mbappe. They want to do it, but I don't know if they can do it."

Belotti, 27, is out of contract at the end of the season and will able to open talks over a precontract agreement with another club in the New Year. It has been speculated that Torino could offer Belotti to Milan in the winter window, if Milan agree to make Tommaso Pobega's loan deal with them a permanent switch.

"Belotti won't leave in January," Juric told Tuttosport. "We will see at the end of the season. I hope he will have a great season, then we will look each other in the eyes and see what he decides to do."

14.00 BST: West Ham United boss David Moyes has told Sky Sports that it will now take an offer of more than £100m if any club is to sign Declan Rice.

Sources have told ESPN that Rice, 22, is on Manchester United's list of transfer targets for next summer. But Moyes says any interested club will have to come up with an even bigger transfer fee than quoted in the summer window just gone to and the midfielder.

"There was a bargain to be had with Declan Rice at £100million." Moyes said. "That bargain is now gone."

13.14 BST: Chelsea still have the most expensive goalkeeper of all-time in €80m Kepa Arrizabalaga.

But Kepa has slipped behind Edouard Mendy at Stamford Bridge and could be allowed to leave. Juventus are one team that are interested as they are looking for competition for Wojciech Szczesny and could see Mattia Perin depart.

TuttoJuve claims that Juve will make an offer (most likely a loan with an offer to sign Kepa permanently for a cheap fee) in the coming January window.

"If you ask me, I would love to stay until the last day of my football career. But I can't say much about that, it's not in my hands," he told Sky Sports last week. "It depends on what the club want, not on me. At the moment I can't see myself ever playing against Liverpool. That would make me sad.

ESPN has been told that senior figures from interested clubs have been made aware that Haaland expects a pay deal that would see him earn in excess of £500,000-a-week. ESPN has contacted the Haaland camp for a response to the figures.

Despite the potential cost of any deal to sign Haaland, who rejected a move to United during the 2019-20 winter transfer window by opting instead to join Dortmund from FC Salzburg, he remains a priority target for Europe's leading clubs.
