Ogden: Dele should move if he wants to revitalise his career (1:04)

Mark Ogden discusses the rumours linking Dele Alli with a move away from Tottenham. (1:04)

The coronavirus pandemic has made the transfer market uncertain -- the window closes for Europe's top leagues on Oct. 5 -- but here are the rumours floating around. Plus, check out the latest major completed transfers across Europe.

TOP STORY: PSG to return with Alli loan offer

The future of Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli has been very much up in the air since the return of Gareth Bale to the club on loan.

PSG have already tried once and failed with a loan move for Alli, but the Daily Telegraph reports that the French champions will try again before Monday's transfer deadline closes.

The 24-year-old has fallen out of favour under manager Jose Mourinho, making just one Premier League appearance so far -- which saw him taken off at half-time in the opening weekend defeat to Everton.

PSG need to strengthen their midfield but have little cash to spend, so a loan move would suit them perfectly. RMC reports that PSG are also closing on a move for Everton forward Moise Kean to join them on loan as well.

22.34 BST: Could West Ham or Southampton swoop for highly-rated Liverpool midfielder?

The Daily Mail is reporting that both clubs are considering a move for central midfielder Marko Grujic, who has spent the last two seasons on loan with Hertha Berlin. The 24-year-old Serbian played 54 times for Hertha during that stretch scoring nine goals and rating as one of the club's top players.

Both clubs are also considering Chelsea's Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who could be moved before the deadline,

22.06 BST: Chelsea are desperate to land West Ham's Declan Rice before Monday's deadline, and have come up with a new proposal, according to The Sun.

The paper is claiming that the Blues are offering Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Antonio Rudiger and cash for the England international. West Ham have been reluctant to sell the 21-year-old Rice, and are asking for £70 million for the player.

Loftus-Cheek, Rudiger, Marcos Alonso and Tiemoue Bakayoko are all expected to leave Stamford Bridge before tomorrow's deadline.

21.26 BST: It looks as if the Matteo Guendouzi saga at Arsenal is nearing an end... at least temporarily that is.

Goal.com can confirm that the French midfielder is set to go on loan at Bundesliga outfit Hertha Berlin. Arsenal have been desperate to move the 21-year-old, after he and manager Mikel Arteta's relationship broke down during the summer. While Guendouzi will join Hertha on loan, Goal has learned there is no purchase option in the deal.

Guendouzi has not featured for Arsenal since his clash with Brighton striker Neal Maupay in June.

20.55 BST: PSG have acquired Everton and Italy youngster Moise Kean on a season-long loan.

The 20-year-old joins the French champions and Champions League runner-ups after scoring four goals in 37 appearances for the Toffees over the last year plus. Kean joins a potent PSG attack that already contains Kylian Mbappe, Neymar, Mauro Icardi and Angel Di Maria.

20.21 BST: Bayern are close to pulling off their speciality and signing a top player on loan.

Fabrizio Romano has learned that Bayern are close to bringing Brazilian winger Douglas Costa back to Munich, where he played from 2015-18. Bayern have done successful loan deals for James Rodriguez, Philippe Coutinho and Ivan Perisic in recent years.

Cotsa, 30, scored 14 goals and added 27 assists during his first spell at Bayern.

19.36 BST: AC Milan are keen on Chelsea's Antonio Rudiger, according to Sky Sports.

The outlet reports that the Rossoneri have joined the race for the German centre-back, who has fallen quickly out of favour at Stamford Bridge. Milan are hoping to land Rudiger on a season long, with Tottenham and PSG also chasing the defender.

19.00 BST: Fulham have zero points through four games and to the plain eye it is apparent the club need to make some new signings.

Manager Scott Parker, though, is not so sure the London club will land any more new players.

"I'm not sure, to be honest with you," Parker said after Fulham's 1-0 defeat to Wolves."You get to this late in the transfer window and my main focus has been the team and not getting bogged down in other stuff.

"It gets to this point and now anything can happen. So I don't know.

"People are trying to do some work to try to help us. But as for how much information I know, very little. I've just been trying to prepare the team as best we can."

Fulham are hoping to bring at least one more centre-back, with Barcelona's Jean-Clair Todibo linked.

18.20 BST: Wolves continue to show their ambition in the transfer market, the club securing France Under-21 international Rayan Ait-Nouri on a season-long loan from Angers.

The 19-year-old left-back is Wolves' seventh arrival of the summer, the Molineux club having spent upwards of €80 million this summer on new players. The highly-rated Ait-Nouri, is rated at over €30 million and could join Wolves on a permanent basis after the 2020-21 season.

17.43 BST: Southampton have found their Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg replacement, the club announcing they have signed defensive midfielder Ibrahima Diallo from Stade Brest.

The 21-year-old, who came through the prestigious Monaco academy, has made 53 appearances over the last three seasons, helping Brest earn promotion from Ligue 2 in his first season. The France Under-21 international is Saints' third addition of the summer, following the arrivals of right-back Kyle Walker-Peters and centre-back Mohammed Salisu.

17.09 BST: Bayern Munich have signed a new defensive midfielder in Spaniard Marc Roca.

The 23-year-old joins on a five-year contract from Espanyol and will be tasked with replacing the recently transferred Thiago Alcantara.

16.41 BST: Celtic have made a loan offer for West Ham and Scotland winger Robert Snodgrass, Sky Sports News understands.

The 33-year-old is a depth player at West Ham these days, but could find more opportunities and playing time at Celtic, especially with Scotland hopeful of qualifying for Euro 2020.

16.06 BST: Man United have only signed one player this window -- Donny van de Beek -- but a couple more are reportedly coming.

Edinson Cavani is expected to join the Red Devils, as is Porto left-back Alex Telles, who Sky report is Old Trafford bound pending a medical.

Telles, 27, has played the last four seasons with Porto, and is regarded as one of the top attacking full-backs in all of Europe. In four seasons with Porto, Telles has racked up 26 goals and 57 assists, including 13 goals and 11 assists last season.

15.49 BST: Hoffenheim have reached an agreement with Tottenham to sign Ryan Sessegnon on a season-long loan.

The Athletic reports that it's all complete and an announcement is coming in the next 24 hours.

15.30 BST: In April, Tor-Kristian Karlsen looked at the next generation of football stars; the top talents, aged 21 or under, who have shown the promise and ability to become the next household names.

With that in mind, here's a look at the players who could be the next breakout stars, compiled from clubs across Europe (Premier League excluded). Including:

- Sergino Dest
- Rayan Ait Nouri
- Jude Bellingham

... and of course, Giovanni Reyna.

15.07 BST: AC Milan have signed full-back Diogo Dalot from Manchester United on a season-long loan.

14.48 BST: Fulham still in talks with Barcelona over centre-back Jean-Clair Todibo, says Sky Sports.

Todibo, 20, is surplus to requirements at Camp Nou and a bid of around €20m is reported to be enough to land him. The France U20 international spent time on loan at Schalke last season and has been linked with a host of clubs as financially-stricken Barcelona try to raise funds.

14.26 BST: Justin Kluivert looks set to leave AS Roma on loan and Gianluca DiMarzio reports that Stephan El Shaarawy is on the verge of rejoining the club from Chinese Super League side Shanghai Shenhua to replace him.

14.08 BST: He was a flop at Real Madrid, but Everton's signing of James Rodriguez has really worked out.

14.00 BST: RMC reports that Marseille have accepted a €10m offer from Bayern Munich to sign Bouna Sarr.

Sarr, 28, is in talks over a four-year deal, with a chance that midfielder Michael Cuisance could head the other way after his move to Leeds collapsed.

13.40 BST: AC Milan are keen on signing Schalke defender Ozan Kabak, reports Sky Italia.

Milan have made a €15m offer, plus add-ons, but Schalke are holding out for around €25m. Chelsea centre-back Antonio Rudiger is reportedly being considered as a backup if Milan can't land the Turkey international.

13.07 BST: Arsenal have left Sead Kolasinac out of the squad to face Sheffield United.

The defender has been linked with a move to Bayer Leverkusen and this could be evidence negotiations are ongoing.

12.46 BST: Manchester United have seen an offer of £15.4m rejected for FC Porto defender Alex Telles, says Sky Sports.

Telles, 27, is in the final year of his contract but the two clubs are apart on valuation of the Brazilian left-back as Porto want £22m.

12.29 BST: Manchester United's all-time leading goal scorer Wayne Rooney has given his thoughts on the club's £108m chase for Borussia Dortmund forward Jadon Sancho.

"Why consider paying close to £100m for someone similar to talent you've got already?" Rooney wrote in the Sunday Times. "United have Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial and where would Sancho's arrival leave Mason Greenwood, who plays in the same position and is of similar age?

"I'd rather put that £100m towards trying to get Harry Kane. Yes, getting Kane out of Tottenham would be difficult, maybe impossible, but United are a club who should always make an effort to sign the very best players and Kane is exactly what Ole Gunnar Solskjaer needs, as is Erling Haaland, who United missed out on last year - a genuine No. 9.

"There are not many who fit that profile and are of elite standard in football right now -- yet the chances of United developing into a title-challenging team would be greater if they had such a player."

12.10 BST: Kicker reports that Bayern are still chasing a right-back and that Brighton have rejected a bid of around €20m for Tariq Lamptey.

Brighton want more money, while Norwich's Max Aarons and Marseille's Bouna Sarr are also on Bayern's radar.

RMC reports that FC Porto's Danilo Pereira is an option on loan, while L'Equipe says they are also after Inter Milan's Joao Mario on loan with an option to buy included.

11.25 BST: Fabrizio Romano reports that Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko is set to complete his move to Napoli.

The Frenchman has struggled in London since making a £40m move from Monaco in 2017 -- spending time on loan with Milan and back at Monaco -- and he will head to Italy on loan until June 2021, with no option to sign him permanently included in the deal.

11.06 BST: ICYMI - Barcelona want to avoid another Lionel Messi situation with teenage star Ansu Fati by offering him another new deal, sources told ESPN's Sam Marsden and Moises Llorens.

Ansu, 17, is under contract until 2022, but Barca have already paid him a lump sum that enables them to extend his terms until 2024 whenever they deem fit.

The Spain international has been targeted by a number of clubs, including Manchester United, since breaking onto the scene last season, and speculation about his future has increased since Jorge Mendes became his agent in August.

10.45 BST: Werder Bremen beat Arminia Bielefeld last night and Werder's sporting director Frank Baumann was asked about the future of 24-year-old attacker Milot Rashica.

He said: "Milot leaving us is still the most likely case."

The Kosovo international had been linked with Liverpool, while Aston Villa and AC Milan have both been tracking him too. But time is running out.

10.26 BST: Rennes are getting things done!

Ouest-France reports that they are set to sign Anderlecht attacker Jeremy Doku for €26m, plus add-ons and a sell-on percentage included in his five-year contract.

PAPER TALK (by Danny Lewis)

Solskjaer pleads with Man United board over Telles bid

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is pleading with the club's board to sign FC Porto left-back Alex Telles, according to the Mirror.

The Portuguese outfit are holding out for £18m, but the Red Devils are refusing to pay anything more than £12m. Rather than up their offer, the hierarchy at Old Trafford is instead threatening to merely sign Telles on a free transfer next summer once his contract has expired.

However, having sanctioned Diogo Dalot's season-long loan at AC Milan, Solskjaer is now facing the prospect of managing a short-handed squad. Desperate for depth in all areas of the pitch, he's now urging his board to pay what Porto are demanding in order to complete the deal before Monday's transfer deadline.

Chelsea to subsidise Loftus-Cheek's wages to secure loan

With competition in midfield fierce and Ruben Loftus-Cheek in desperate need of playing time as he works his way back from a devastating Achilles injury, Chelsea are willing to pay a portion of his wages in order to secure him a loan move away from Stamford Bridge, according to The Sun.

Southampton are reported to be considering bringing Loftus-Cheek to the south coast on loan, but they're weighing up the costs associated with such a deal vs. a move for Nice midfielder Wylan Cyprien. In order to further tempt Saints, or any other interested clubs, Chelsea reportedly will pay as much as £100,000-a-week of Loftus-Cheek's £173,000-a-week wages.

Will it be enough to ensure that the towering Chelsea academy product sees regular Premier League action this season? We'll find out come Monday night.

Augustin to leave Leipzig limbo for Istanbul?

Jean-Kevin Augustin had a torrid time in 2019-20, first on loan at AS Monaco and then on another short-term stint with Leeds United. Making matters worse, parent club RB Leipzig have threatened legal action against Leeds, who allegedly were obligated to make Augustin's loan permanent following their promotion to the Premier League.

But we digress. There is light at the end of the tunnel.

Foot Mercato reports he is set to be given a fresh start in the Turkish Super Lig, as Istanbul Basaksehir are interested in signing the 23-year-old striker. Bottom of the table having scored no goals through four matchdays, despite having qualified for the Champions League group stages, they are desperate for firepower.

Tap-ins

- Leeds United are tabling an offer for Stade Rennes forward Raphinha, Goal reports. Patrick Bamford has had a great start to the season, but Marcelo Bielsa & Co. are aware that more depth is needed within the squad, and the Brazilian could add competition for the former Chelsea man while adding further firepower alongside Rodrigo.

- Foot Mercato writes that Lyon are looking to send Tino Kadewere to Dijon on loan for the season, and then sign Islam Slimani following his successful loan at Ligue 1 rivals AS Monaco from Leicester City last season.
