Premier League transfer deadline

The transfer window opened the day after the season finished, on Monday, July 27. It will run for 10 weeks and closes on Monday, Oct. 5 before the UEFA competition squad deadline the following day.

However, there will be an additional, domestic window that continues through to 5 p.m. on Oct. 16 when clubs will only be able to trade (either loans or permanent registrations) with EFL teams (so not internationally or with other Premier League clubs).

The winter transfer window will open on Jan. 4 through to Feb. 1.

Serie A transfer deadline

The Serie A season ended on Aug. 2, though the transfer window will not officially open until Tuesday, Sept. 1 -- expect many deals to be confirmed before this date. It is already confirmed the Italian window will run through to Monday, Oct. 5. The winter window will run from Jan. 4 to Feb. 1.

Bundesliga transfer deadline

The German transfer market opened for just one day on July 1, to enable players to register with their new clubs based on pre-agreed deals.

It then reopened on Wednesday, July 15 and runs right through to Oct. 5.

Ligue 1 transfer deadline

With the season curtailed, Ligue 1 opened its window as usual on June 8 -- but only for domestic transfers -- through to July 9. A secondary window opens on Aug. 15 through to Oct. 5.

Other deadlines:

Mexico: Sept. 5
Netherlands: Oct. 6
