The Peeps navigated three back-and-forth matches on Sunday, capped by a seven-game final against G2 Esports, to win the title at the Rocket League DreamHack Pro Circuit Montreal stop.

The Peeps claimed $50,000 of the $100,000 purse with the victory, the fourth and final stop on the 2019 DreamHack Pro Circuit Tour that was played at Olympic Stadium in Montreal.

G2 opened the final with a 4-3 overtime win on DFH Stadium to take a 1-0 lead, but The Peeps won the next three: 4-3 on Aquadome in OT, 3-2 on Mannfield (Night) and 3-1 on Wasteland.

G2 weren't done, fighting back with victories of 4-2 on Neo Tokyo and 2-1 in overtime on Utopia Coliseum to force a deciding seventh game. But The Peeps dominated the decider, winning 4-0 on Champions Field.

To reach the final, The Peeps had to survive a best-of-five quarterfinal battle with mousesports 3-2 and then rally from 2-1 down in the best-of-seven semifinals against Renault Vitality to win 4-2.

G2 had beaten Dignitas 3-1 in the quarterfinals before a stunning rally against NRG Esports in the semifinals. G2 trailed 2-0 and 3-1 but won the final three games to move onto the final.

In the other quarterfinals earlier in the day, NRG swept GC AURA eSports, and Renault Vitality survived Cloud9 3-2.
