THURSDAY, APRIL 1

Collingwood vs. Brisbane, Marvel Stadium, 7:40pm (AEDT)

Team news: The Pies will be without sharpshooter Jamie Elliott, who suffered a leg injury in last week's win over the Blues. In his place is Chris Mayne, who returns after recovering from a bout of concussion. For the Lions, Oscar McInerney will be missing, following the ankle injury he picked up against the Cats, while Jaxon Prior and Harry Sharp have been omitted. Deven Robertson will play his first senior game, joining defender Marcus Adams and Connor Ballenden in the Round 3 line-up.

ESPN tip: Lions by 4 points.

FRIDAY, APRIL 2

North Melbourne vs. Western Bulldogs, Marvel Stadium, 6:20pm (AEDT)

Team news: Ben Cunnington's return is a huge boost for the Roos, following two weeks on the sidelines with concussion. Joining him in the side is last year's pick No. 3, Will Phillips, will make his debut in Brent Harvey's famous No. 29 jersey. For the Dogs, former captain Easton Wood makes his return to the side, with both Mitch Wallis and Patrick Lipinski the unlucky omissions.

ESPN tip: Bulldogs by 49 points.

TAB odds: Kangaroos $7.50, Bulldogs $1.08

Adelaide vs. Gold Coast, Adelaide Oval, 7:50pm (AEST)

Team news: Jake Kelly returns for the Crows, following his week off with concussion, as does fellow defender Luke Brown. The Suns made two forced changes to the side which beat North Melbourne, with Connor Budarick and Sam Day both picking up injuries. Jarrod Harbrow makes his return as does swingman Chris Burgess.

ESPN tip: Suns by 10 points.

SATURDAY, APRIL 3

Richmond vs. Sydney, MCG, 1:45pm (AEST)

Team news: Nick Vlastuin and Bachar Houli will both be available for selection, so it will be interesting to see who is left out of the Tigers team. Sydney has declared Lance Franklin will not play in Round 3, after the key forward made his long-awaited AFL return last week. James Rowbottom is vying to be fit and make a return to the side.

ESPN tip: Tigers by 19 points.

TAB odds: Tigers $1.30, Swans $3.40

Essendon vs. St Kilda, Marvel Stadium, 4:35pm (AEST)

Team news: Things have gone from bad to worse for the Bombers with Devon Smith, Sam Draper and Jye Caldwell all set to miss up to eight weeks. Skipper Dyson Heppell will also remain on the sidelines, but the Bombers have confirmed a Jake Stringer return and debuts for both Archie Perkins and Alec Waterman. The Saints will be without Jimmy Webster, who suffered a jaw injury against the Demons, but Brad Crouch will feature in his first game as a Saint, after serving a two-game suspension. He is joined by Jake Carlisle and Mason Wood, with Paul Hunter, as well as defenders Ben Long and Tom Highmore making way.

ESPN tip: Saints by 28 points.

TAB odds: Bombers $3.30, Saints $1.32

West Coast vs. Port Adelaide, Optus Stadium, 8:10pm (AEST)

Team news: Eagles skipper Luke Shuey will return for this blockbuster game, with his recovery from a hamstring injury on track. Port Adelaide has recalled Connor Rozee from injury and Todd Marshall also returns, for Kane Farrell and Tom Rockliff.

ESPN tip: Power by 3 points.

TAB odds: Eagles $1.92, Power $1.85


SUNDAY, APRIL 4

Carlton vs. Fremantle, Marvel Stadium, 3:20pm (AEST)

Team news: A huge blow for the Dockers with skipper Nat Fyfe ruled out after suffering a concussion in last week's win over GWS, but Michael Walters has been declared a certain starter. For Carton, both Zac Fisher and Jack Martin will miss this match and up to the next six matches after suffering ankle and knee injuries late during last week's loss to Collingwood. Luke Parks is set to make his debut for the Blues.

ESPN tip: Blues by 14 points.

TAB odds: Blues $1.42, Dockers $2.80

GWS vs. Melbourne, Manuka Oval, 6:10pm (AEST)

Team news: Sam Reid will be missing after copping a two-game suspension while young guns Tom Green and Jake Riccardi are both pushing for Giants selection. Jake Melksham looked good in the VFL last week and could be in line for an AFL return.

ESPN tip: Demons by 18 points.

MONDAY, APRIL 5

Geelong vs. Hawthorn, MCG, 3:20pm (AEST)

Team news: Patrick Dangerfield remains on the sidelines but fellow mids Mitch Duncan and Sam Menegola could be back in the hoops for the annual Easter Monday clash. Gary Rohan's suspension could also open the door for Josh Jenkins, who kicked five goals last weekend in the VFL. Will Day's injury opens up a place in Hawthorn's team.
