Tommy Seymour misses out as Blair Kinghorn earns first Scotland start
Edinburgh back Blair Kinghorn will make his first start for Scotland as they take on Ireland in the only change to Gregor Townsend's starting XV from the side's Calcutta Cup victory over England.
Kinghorn, who made his Scotland debut as a replacement last time out against England, comes in for Tommy Seymour, who has failed to recover from a back injury sustained in that match.
The Glasgow winger came off with 15 minutes to go at Murrayfield, and now he faces a race against time to be fit for Scotland's final Six Nations game against Italy next weekend.
The only other change to the matchday squad sees Glasgow hooker Fraser Brown return to take a place on the bench with Scott Lawson missing out.
Scotland team to face Ireland:
Hogg, Kinghorn, H Jones, Horne, Maitland, Russell, Laidlaw; Reid, McInally, Berghan, Gilchrist, Gray, Barclay, Watson, Wilson.
Replacements: Brown, Bhatti, Nel, Swinson, Denton, Price, Grigg, L Jones.
