Several past and present Wallaby stars appear to be playing cupid for their unlucky-in-love former teammate Drew Mitchell, using their Twitter accounts to call for the wing to be the next star of "Bachelor Australia".
After years playing third wheel for teammates Adam Ashley-Cooper and Matt Giteau -- the latter of which he lived with while playing for Toulon -- it appears Giteau and Cooper think it's time the 33-year-old found a partner of his own.
I saw this article and thought to myself, I KNOW THE PERFECT BLOKE --> @drew_mitchell!!!!!
Charming, handsome, good with kids, everyone's 3rd wheel and will scrub your back if needed. #TheBachelor @TheBachelorAUhttps://t.co/FksPep1uQT pic.twitter.com/UfKocOkRS2

Fellow teammate Kurtley Beale also joined in the fun, tweeting a photoshopped image of a former Bachelor with Mitchell's head placed on top from South Africa.

And the idea seems to be gaining support from fellow players and fans alike.
God. Can we please make this happen.

Mitchell wouldn't be the first international rugby star to play the lonely heart, with Welsh rugby star Gavin Henson taking part in the UK series back in 2011.
But we're sure his mates are hoping Mitchell will have a better time of it, unlike Henson whose relationship ended a year after the finale. Or perhaps they're hoping for some awkward moments just like this.
