McVay: Opportunities, not plan, limited Gurley

Rams coach Sean McVay said Tuesday that Todd Gurley's limited showing in the Super Bowl was due to Los Angeles not getting a lot of attempts off, not the game plan or the running back's health.

Rams LG Rodger Saffold is a pending free agent. The Rams drafted Saffold in the second round of the 2010 draft. He started 16 games last season (Including playoffs), and 19 games this season (Including playoffs). Saffold said he wanted to return to L.A., but that it would require a situation. "I don't think that it's any surprise to people to know that I want to be back," Saffold said Tuesday, as he cleaned out his locker. "At the end of the day, though, I need to make sure that it's something fair for me... something I can use and feel that I was treated fair."
