Colts left tackle Anthony Castonzo enjoyed playing in the snow: "I can't remember having that much fun playing football. That was a lot of fun. We would have liked the results to be better. I wished for a heavy snow storm and we got it. I was happy with that aspect of it. It's like you're a kid again. Game plans kind of get thrown out the window. Man-on-man football playing in the snow. Not much more fun than that."

McCoy scores to seal Bills' 13-7 OT win over Colts

LeSean McCoy scored on a 21-yard run with 1:33 left in overtime to secure the Buffalo Bills' 13-7 win over the Indianapolis Colts in a wintry, white-out setting best suited for snow shoes and sled dogs.

The Bills and Colts are headed to overtime after Adam Vinatieri could not make magic happen twice in the snow. Vinatieri converted a 43-yard extra point to tie the game late in the fourth quarter, then emergency Bills QB Joe Webb threw an interception to give the Colts the ball back. Vinatieri missed a 43-yard field goal to send it to the extra frame.

The Colts are in the position where they're going to have to throw the ball at some point because they still trail the Bills 7-0 in the third quarter. Colts QB Jacoby Brissett has only attempted four passes through two-plus quarters.

As snowfall picked up early in the third quarter in Buffalo, there was a flash of light at New Era Field that might have been lightning. Local meteorologists have reported thundersnow in the area Sunday afternoon.

There are no fewer than 30 people either shoveling or blowing snow off the field during halftime in Buffalo. That could help the Colts, who get the ball to start the second half.

Snow, snow and more snow has led to a lot of running of the ball by the Colts at New Era Field. The Colts ran the ball on 23 of their 25 plays in the first half. The problem they face now is that they may have to pass the ball after the Bills scored the lone touchdown late in the first half. Frank Gore's career high in carries is 31. He rushed 18 times for 57 yards in the first half.
