The Cowboys had their best offensive day of the season in the win against Jacksonville and Dak Prescott has one potential reason why: "I don't know if it was Conor McGregor or whatever it was but we came out and attacked. It was a great win." Prescott might have had another reason for playing so well. His high school coach, Rodney Guin, was in attendance. "I just told him to go be Dak," the coach said.

Jerry Jones was more than pleased with the 40-7 win against Jacksonville. "Against that quality of a team, I can't remember playing that well on both sides of the ball," the Cowboys owner and general manager said.

For the first time since the Cowboys moved in to AT&T Stadium in 2009 they have won their first three home games of a season with their convincing 40-7 win against the Jacksonville Jaguars. At 3-3, the Cowboys hope to use the win to build some momentum in a season that has been win one-lose one so far.

Brett Maher with a career-long 55-yarder gives the Cowboys a 40-7 lead. He has now made 15 field goal attempts in a row. The Cowboys' 40 points are their most in a home game since 2016.

Not a lot left to watch in Jaguars (-3.5) at Cowboys now. Dallas up 37-7 early in the fourth quarter. Game is already over closing total of 39.5.

After Jacksonville scored its first touchdown, the Cowboys reassumed control of a game with two Brett Maher field goals sandwiched around a Jeff Heath interception of Blake Bortles. The Cowboys have a 30-7 lead, marking the first time they have scored at least 30 points in a game since Week 14 last year against the New York Giants. It's the first time they have scored at least 30 points at AT&T Stadium since Week 13 of last season against the Washington Redskins.

Cole Beasley has 25.9 PPR fantasy points at the half, and he has done it against the Jacksonville Jaguars defense. What makes it even more unexpected: He hadn't scored more than 18.4 points in any of his previous 30 games.

Dak Prescott must feel like he's back at Mississippi State. In leading the Cowboys to a 24-0 halftime lead against Jacksonville, the Cowboys' quarterback has run for a touchdown and thrown two touchdown passes to Cole Beasley. Prescott has completed 13 of 18 passes for 151 yards and ran a career-high nine times for 53 yards. The Cowboys open the second half with the ball and in position to really put this game away.

The last time the Cowboys scored on their first four possessions of a game came in Week 4 last season in a 35-30 loss to the Los Angeles Rams. Dak Prescott has thrown two touchdown passes to Cole Beasley and the Cowboys are dominating the Jacksonville Jaguars, leading 24-0 with 41 seconds left in the first half.

A week after not going for it in overtime on fourth and 1 from the Houston 42, Jason Garrett goes for it on fourth and 1 from the Jacksonville 37. Ezekiel Elliott converts and the Cowboys keep their scoring chance alive. Not all fourth-and-1 plays are created equally but Garrett shows some guts to go for it.

Cole Beasley with his first touchdown since Week 9 last year. The Cowboys have a 17-0 lead, scoring on all three possessions. Earlier in the drive Beasley converted a third and 11 with a 21-yard pickup. The Cowboys were 2-of-20 on third-and-10 or more entering the game.

Just like they did against the Giants in Week 2, the Cowboys have a 10-0 lead after their first two possessions with Dak Prescott's first rushing touchdown of the season. The Cowboys were unable to maintain their success but went on to beat the Giants 20-13.

As the Cowboys defensive backs started their pregame warmups, they were joined by Conor McGregor because, why not? McGregor is on the Cowboys' sidelines talking with owner and general manager Jerry Jones.

Defensive tackle David Irving is active for the first time this season. He was suspended the first four games and missed last week for personal reasons. It's his first game since Week 13 last season.
