Australia netball coach Lisa Alexander has named an extra mid-courter in her squad for January's Quad Series in England, as she continues to explore her options for next year's World Cup.
The squad of 13 includes five mid-court players, with Kate Moloney and international rookie Jamie Lee-Price both included.
The pair were in the squad for two of the four matches in this month's Constellation Cup series.
Moloney was named in the 12 for the two matches in Australia and Price took her place for the New Zealand leg, making her debut in the first of those games.
"We're taking five mid-court athletes to England in January so we can continue to explore and evolve our playing combinations and game plan as we head towards the World Cup," Alexander said.
"Kate and Jamie-Lee both contributed to our mid-court during the Constellation Cup so we're keen to explore those combinations a little bit further."
Australia will play matches against South Africa, England and New Zealand in the 2019 Quad Series.
The tournament will be played from January 13 to 20 in Liverpool and London.
The Diamonds will then hold a squad training camp in March and a selection camp in May before the final 12-player World Cup group is chosen.
