Cavs downplay effects of Pacers' Stephenson

The Cavaliers insist Lance Stephenson's antics won't influence their focus after run-ins with the Pacers guard in Sunday's 104-100 win, which tied their series at 2-2. "It's not worth it to give that extra energy to him," Cavs forward Jeff Green said.

LeBron James scored 32 points and combined with Kyle Korver for all but two of Cleveland's final 13 points as the Cavaliers escaped with a 104-100 victory over the Indiana Pacers on Sunday to even the first-round series at two games apiece.

Coach Nate McMillan says it's going to be physical. It's the playoffs. He adds they have to get off to a better start, so they aren't "fighting out of a hole."

George Hill remains questionable for Game 4 because of back spasms. The good news is the MRI he underwent on Saturday revealed no structural damage. Tyronn Lue said he will start Jose Calderon at point guard if Hill cannot play, rather than just shift point guard duties onto LeBron James. "I don't want LeBron to have to do everything," Lue said at Sunday's shootaround. "Have to handle the ball and make the plays. It will be a stretch where LeBron will be playing the point, we know that for sure, but not to start the game."

Tyronn Lue said he thinks Game 4 will be the time to work Tristan Thompson into his rotation. "I can trust him," Lue said of Thompson. "I think Tristan can also get us extra possessions offensive rebounding. He brings toughness and that's been a problem last couple games. I think he brings toughness, rebounding, defense." Thompson has just two garbage-time minutes in the series so far. Last year, he averaged 8.2 points on 58.7 percent shooting, 8.3 rebounds and 1.4 assists, starting 18 games for Cleveland during its run to the Finals.

The Cavaliers were outscored in the third quarter by 11 points in their Game 3 loss to the Indiana Pacers. LeBron James said it's been a recurring problem for Cleveland. "I mean we've had horrible third quarters all season,' James said at shootaround Sunday morning. "If I could put my finger on it, we'd change it. So you just hope going into the next time, coming out of the break that you play better."

Stephenson: Cavaliers will panic if down 3-1

Pacers guard Lance Stephenson predicted Saturday that the Cavs will start getting nervous if Indiana wins Sunday at home to put Cleveland in a 3-1 hole. "We have full control right now," he said.

Mike Wells ESPN Staff Writer

Asked Pacers guard Darren Collison what is it about this team that has allowed them to have success. "When your best player (Victor Oladipo) has a positive attitude it becomes contagious. It filters to everybody else. I've played with a lot great players in my career and if they have a bad attitude at times it can impact everybody else. Vic brought that positive attitude the moment he arrived. If you have bad attitude it stands out because everybody is so positive inside the locker room. Nobody on this team has a bad attitude."

Victor Oladipo said he was like the fourth scoring option at DeMatha High School in Maryland and he's played alongside of Cody Zeller at Indiana University and Russell Westbrook in Oklahoma City. Now he's the focal point of defenses each game. The Cavs spent a lot of time sending double teams at him in Game 3. "Have to be very patient and pick my spots wisely."
