Sources: Calderon is headed back to Detroit

Jose Calderon is returning to the Pistons on a one-year, $2.4 million deal, where he will reunite with his former coach Dwane Casey, league sources tell ESPN's Chris Haynes.

Even with the Jose Calderon $1.5M cap hit, Detroit can still stay under the tax and sign second round picks, Bruce Brown and Khyri Thomas. Removing the $1.6M non-guaranteed of Dwight Buycks would have the Pistons under by $1.8M. The first year salary for both would be $838K.

Detroit is right at $121.9M, $1.7M below the tax after the Glenn Robinson III signing. The roster takes into account $5.9M in non-guaranteed money of Reggie Bullock, Eric Moreland and Dwight Buycks.
