MotoGP championship leader Marc Marquez has one hand on this year's trophy after winning in Germany for the seventh successive year, across all categories.
The Honda rider surged 48 points clear at the top of the standings after his main rival, Yamaha's Jorge Lorenzo, struggled badly to finish 15th.
Marquez finished 9.8 seconds in front of Britain's Cal Crutchlow, on an LCR Honda, with Italy's Andrea Dovizioso third for Ducati.
The dominant performance means Lorenzo is head and shoulders clear of the chasing pack at the halfway point of the season - after nine of 18 rounds, he has 170 points to Lorenzo's 122. Italian great Valentino Rossi has 111.
Marquez, 23, is chasing his third MotoGP title.
