I don't anticipate having any shares of Steven Souza Jr. He's shaping up as a potentially overvalued pick, between his remarkably good luck in the injury department in 2017, his high HR/FB% and that people might underestimate the adverse impact of the humidor on offense.

Good move by the Diamondbacks to deal Brandon Drury now, because he was one of their players I'd have most expected to suffer statistically as a result of the humidor. In New York, he'll play regularly while getting at least as much HR/FB% help, so his results should be similar.

Two years ago, Curt Schilling was 11 percent ahead of Mike Mussina in the voting. Now Mussina is 12 percent ahead and trending in the right direction while Schilling has stalled. Both are very strong candidates in my opinion, well above the bar for Hall of Fame pitchers, especially when considering Schilling's postseason numbers. You have to think Schilling's controversial political views have hurt him at the ballot box.

D-backs' Tomas charged with criminal speeding

Diamondbacks outfielder Yasmany Tomas was booked into the downtown Phoenix jail after authorities say his Mercedes Coupe was clocked at 105 mph on the freeway.
