After beating Kentucky and opening Pac-12 play with lopsided wins against Washington State and Washington, UCLA looked like it was finally finding a rhythm. Instead, the Bruins were handed arguably their most disappointing loss of the season: a double-overtime loss, 107-99, at Stanford (7-8). UCLA's Thomas Welsh missed about 14 missed in the first half after he sustained a laceration to his face and received three stitches, but still fouled out along with teammates G.G. Goloman and Kris Wilkes.
