Chattanooga was clearly overmatched at North Carolina, but keep an eye out for the Mocs as the season goes on. The Southern Conference favorites start five seniors (including 2 who could have used the graduate transfer rule to leave) and with an inside out combo like Greg Pryor and Justin Tuoyo, they could be a mid-major to watch come March.

North Carolina still not good on end of half defensive situations, allowing Chattanooga to go the length of the court in 5.1 seconds for a basket at the buzzer. Obviously Villanova (twice) in the national title game sticks out, but in UNC losses last season it allowed Texas (game winner), Northern Iowa (1st half), Virginia (1st half) to all score with less than five seconds left.

Joel Berry brings a different kind of toughness that's been largely missing from North Carolina in the recent past. He's without question the heart of this year's team.
