College of Charleston basketball team is taking shelter in the upstate of South Carolina during Hurricane Matthew. Campus and school closed indefinitely on the 4th. Team is currently practicing at Bob Jones University on Friday and Saturday and Furman University on Sunday -- both located in Greenville, S.C. Began first day of practice at CofC on the 3rd and evacuated on the 4th/5th.

College of Charleston graduate transfer Canyon Barry, son of Hall of Famer Rick Barry, will play for Florida next season.
