There were six ties and no lead larger than four points in the last 8:30 of the game when High Point (12-12, 7-6 Big South) made 7 of 12 shots down the stretch and Fox scored seven of his 14 points. Jordan Whitehead scored seven of his nine points in the last 8:30. Fox also pulled down nine rebounds and had two steals and three assists.
Jahaad Proctor added 11 points and four assists for High Point, which has now won two straight after ending a three-game skid.
Donald Hicks led Radford (15-11, 8-5) with 12 points.
Radford's Ed Polite, Jr. scored 11 points, the exact number he needed to surpass the 1,000-point career mark. The junior forward is also the third player in school history and ninth in the Big South, to reach 1,000 points, 500 rebounds, 100 assists and 100 steals.
