CELEBRATION, Fla. — Elliott Casillas came to the Great Outdoor Games hungry for some cookies. The 16-year-old from Oviedo, Fla., finally got one during the SuperJack event. Cookies, for any Great Outdoor Games first timers, are 2- or 3-inch slices of wood severed during crosscut or power sawing events.

"I'm going to hang it up in my room," Casillas said. "It's so awesome."

Casillas and four of his friends traveled to Orlando to check out the Great Outdoor Games after summer school classes ended today. When they told their football coach at Oviedo High School they all would be skipping practice to take in the Games he told them to have fun.

The group of boys heard about the Great Outdoor Games on ESPN and decided to make the trip.

"We've been here since noon," Casillas said. "We watched the ATV races. That was pretty cool."

Casillas said the SuperJack is the most exciting event. His favorite Great Outdoor Games athlete is Harry Burnsworth who won a gold medal last night in the Hot Saw competition.

Zack Goodwin, 14, from Palm Bay, Fla., agrees that SuperJack is a great spectator event. "SuperJack is the best event. There's so much competition and it's so intense." Goodwin is a fan of Jason Wynward who he watched compete in Men's Endurance.

As the SuperJack drew to a close, it was nearing midnight. "We told our parents we'd be home an hour ago. We better get back home," Casillas said. The group will be back tomorrow for more action. They can't wait to see who wins the final rounds.
