Quotable
"With my layoff my new goal is to become a career firefighter. Currently I volunteer for Central Kitsap Fire and Rescue at station 42. Throughout March and April I went through extensive, rigorous training and learned all the basics. We got to do some live fires and probably one of the most exciting things that happened is one of the guys melted his helmet and gave himself a big blister on his head.
