    Notable
Jamie lost her favorite shotgun during a controlled burn on her family's farm. She says they always do these burns in the same place on the farm, and this time the wind just picked up too much and burned down the workshop where her shotgun was kept. She will have a loaner gun for the event this summer. In mid-May she tore off the nail on her trigger finger when she got it caught in the car door. She says she hopes it will heal well by the time she starts training the second week of June.

    Quotable
About her performance last year, she says, "I have watched my tapes about 500 times, and it's very painful. I saw my flaws. I am going to practice this year and analyze what I need to do."As one of the few females in the sport, she says, "At some competitions, I compete against some guys who see my name on the board and want to know 'Who that guy is' that's in the lead!"
