Notable
Doug says his equipment is all ready to go for GOG, and as a full time shooter, he says he'll do the best he can and try to win. He feels if it isn't broke, don't fix it. He says that he has never lost a match to equipment and feels that most of the time it's operator error and not equipment. One factor that can bother him, though, is the weather. In Reno last year, he said that the wind was really bad, and it made it hard for him to adjust.
Quotable
"I have been competing a lot, and I know how to win and what the pressure's like. That gets you to a point, and then it's all luck. Your good luck could just be someone else's bad luck."He also says, "I just do what I know I can do. I'll either hit the tree first or not. Once I hit the tree I take note of where my competitor's at. If I go 10 for 10, once I hit the tree I feel confident. I try to be absolutely prepared. I never leave any stone unturned," he says. "...I live it, think it, sleep it..."
