Notable
John used to do road races and is still involved in some drag racing competition. He says it gave him a lot of respect for NASCAR racers, because he'd race for 20 minutes in his Mustang and be completely exhausted mentally and physically. He runs his own track and helped build a drag car - says it's more of a nostalgic model, but it keeps him involved. He says that drag racing and competing are a lot alike in that you are competing in head to head competition, only in GOG it's with guns.
Quotable
"Maybe not being one of the top shooters will help take the pressure off of me and help carry me through. I'll be happy to get past the first round. I'll need everything on my side, but I'll go in with a good attitude."He also says, "Plans go out the window once the buzzer goes off. Adrenaline and your trigger finger go fully automatic and you don't hit any. I need to hit the first ten clean and work my way from there."
