Zlatan Ibrahimovic, when asked if it bothered him to get booed at Banc of California Stadium: "If I'm honest, this stadium is too small for me. I'm used to playing in front of 80,000. And when 80,000 whistle to you, then you get on your toes and you start to do the real work. But when 20,000 whistle you, are not cheering you, it's like when I'm doing a training. With all due respect."

LAFC's Carlos Vela said his team gave up a goal to cut its lead in half and basically got scared. "Everybody's like, ‘I don't want the ball,'" Vela said. "If we would've played five more minutes, we would've lost for sure. This is not the way to beat a great team."

Walker Zimmerman said this one "hurts the most" among all of LAFC's home games this year, given that they lost a 2-0 lead to "our rivals." "We walk away disappointed because we felt like we let down our fans, let down our supporters."

That's now two thrilling matches between LAFC and the LA Galaxy, both featuring strong starts by LAFC and late comebacks by the Galaxy. Galaxy coach Sigi Schmid said tonight's match was "definitely intense," noting all the fouls. "There was definitely a resoluteness to the game." LAFC coach Bob Bradley wasn't in the mood to praise the Galaxy. "I don't spend much time giving credit to other teams," he said. "What's the point of that?"

They call this "El Tráfico" for a reason. It is really hard to get to South Central on a weekday afternoon. Fans are still filling in, but this place is loud nonetheless.

They're only an expansion team, but LAFC is very good and is already a major threat to the LA Galaxy, the most accomplished franchise in MLS history. Their first matchup was epic, and LAFC fan Fernando Varela, 21, says this is already a rivalry. "They hate us, and we hate them."

More than three hours before LAFC hosts the LA Galaxy at Banc of California Stadium and LAFC fans are already in full force. Somebody tried posting up with a Galaxy T-shirt. "Wrong side of town, bro," someone yelled. "Wrong side of town."
