OpTic picks up female CS:GO team Vivo Keyd

OpTic Gaming is continuing its global expansion and has acquired the lineup of female Brazilian Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team, Vivo Keyd.

The North American org made the announcement on Thursday. Though its headquarters are in Dallas, the organization already has outposts in India and Mexico.

The lineup -- formed by Juliana "Showliana" Maransaldi, Pamella "pan" Shibuya, Camila "camyy" Natale, Gabriela "GaBi" Maldonado and Bruna "bizinha" Marvila -- dominated the Brazilian women's scene in 2017 but ended up collapsing earlier this year after some controversy.

In July, the players decided to return under the tag "Times das Lindas." Coach Guillermo "walck" Moreno, who was part of the original group, also returned to direct the lineup.

Their debut under OpTic will take place Friday during the GameXP women's tournament in Rio de Janeiro. Showliana and company will face Team One Red in the semifinals.
