Australian Sally Pearson has missed a spot in the final of the 60m hurdles at the World Indoor titles in Birmingham.
Pearson finished third in her semifinal, clocking 7.92 seconds. That time was one one-hundredth of a second off a place in the final as one of the two fastest times behind the two automatic qualifiers from her semi.
Pearson is in Europe to finalise her preparations for next month's Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast.
The 2012 Olympic champion has battled back from a broken arm two years ago and went on to claim the gold at the World Championships in London last year.
