This is because of the TV broadcasting rights agreements. There are times when ESPN only has rights to air certain events in a specific territory, which means we can't broadcast them to ALL ESPN networks.
Only a licensed broadcaster to receive the ESPN International signal. The signal is encrypted (scrambled) and decoders are not sold or authorised for individual satellite or decoder owners.
There are two main reasons. Firstly, the very nature of sports means that changes to the schedule can sometimes happen – due to weather for instance. And then there can also be technical issues, such as a program not arriving in time for its allotted slot, or broadcast quality issues.
ESPN focuses the best in international sports for our various regional channels. Although we also attempt to secure broadcast rights to local events, the program rights are not always available to us.
Due to last-minute changes and publishing deadlines, it's not always possible to advise individual publications or guides of late changes. To make sure you have the latest schedule, we recommend checking our website regularly.
At this point in time, these channels and services are only available in the United States. Check with your local cable or satellite operator to determine what is available in your area or visit the

Because many of our sports are broadcast live, we often simulcast with the ESPN US domestic channels. During these broadcasts, the US domestic channel will promote upcoming programs that relate that channel in the US. Please continue to check the local ESPN
