Promotions, hires among Bama staff reshuffle

Among Alabama's staff announcements Thursday were Mike Locksley as offensive coordinator, Josh Tupoi as defensive coordinator, Dan Enos as quarterbacks coach and Craig Kuligowski as defensive line coach.

Source: Alabama is hiring Miami defensive line coach Craig Kugilowski for the same role. Kuligowski replaces Karl Dunbar, who recently left to coach defensive line with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Sports Illustrated first reported the move. Kuligowski returns to the SEC, where he had great success during a long run as Missouri's defensive line coach.

Hearing Tulane defensive line coach Kevin Peoples is in the mix for Alabama's defensive line vacancy. Peoples has been with Willie Fritz at both Tulane and Georgia Southern. He has SEC experience as Arkansas' defensive line coach under Bobby Petrino.

The Bills hired former Alabama analyst Shea Tierney as an offensive assistant, according to the Bills' website. Tierney joins William Vlachos, also an offensive assistant, in analysts following offensive coordinator Brian Daboll from Alabama to Buffalo this offseason. Like Bills coach Sean McDermott, Tierney has spent time with the Philadelphia Eagles.

ESPN 300 defensive back Isaac Taylor-Stuart has committed to USC over Tennesssee and Alabama.
