With the latest wave of coaching changes complete in the SEC, that means the rest of the league has now had 43 different head coaches since Nick Saban was hired at Alabama in 2007. All but Georgia, LSU, Missouri and South Carolina have had three different head coaches since Saban arrived. Arkansas and Tennessee lead the way, each with five different head coaches.

Asked why leave a good situation at Florida State, new Texas A&M coach Jimbo Fisher said he never had any intentions to leave. He said after researching A&M, the resources available and considering his relationship with athletic director Scott Woodward made it a "no-brainer."

The thing I keep coming back to with Jimbo Fisher is this: Florida State was his first head coaching job. Of course he would wonder if the grass was greener elsewhere. Maybe he'll regret moving on to Texas A&M. Maybe not. But there's something understandable about it.
