UAB's defense presents challenge to Texas A&M (2:39)

Texas A&M RB Trayveon Williams' 228-yard rushing performance is his 4th career 200-yard rushing game. That's tied for second-most in the SEC in the last 15 seasons (Leonard Fournette had 5, Derrick Henry also had 4).

Texas A&M has scored 10 unanswered points to take the lead on Ole Miss in the fourth quarter. The Aggies have relied on their running game to help them overcome early second-half miscues and Kellen Mond threw a pretty 10-yard touchdown pass to Quartney Davis.

This is not the start to the second half Texas A&M envisioned: Ole Miss scooped up a fumble by Kellen Mond for a 96-yard touchdown return, and then Mond threw an interception on the following drive. The Aggies look like a ragged bunch with a bowl berth on the line.

Texas A&M has had a hard time sustaining drives against Ole Miss, one of the worst in the country in scoring defense (36.1 ppg). That has to be a source of some frustration for Jimbo Fisher at halftime, with the game tied at 14. The Aggies only have 47 yards rushing against a run defense that gives up 210 yards per game.

Ole Miss has done a nice job finding holes in the Texas A&M secondary as Jordan Ta'amu has started this game 6-of-7 for 144 yards and two scores. Explosive plays have been the key -- Ta'amu now has eight TD passes that have gone 40 or more yards this season, second to Tua Tagovailoa in the SEC.

Most important takeaway for each Top 25 team

It's going to be Alabama vs. Georgia for the SEC title. Meanwhile, Michigan keeps rolling, and West Virginia won a classic over Texas. What else have we learned?

Gus Malzahn's team led Jimbo Fisher's team for nearly the entire BCS Championship five seasons ago, before Florida State came back late in the fourth quarter to best Auburn. Malzahn's Tigers returned the favor Saturday with an incredible comeback. Auburn scored more points (28) than it had rushing yards (19). Don't see that every Saturday.

Forty-one seconds into the second quarter, Texas A&M has rushed for 130 yards. That is not good news for Auburn on a lot of levels. With the Tigers' offensive struggles, they don't want to have to match scores.
