Canceled game will not affect UNC suspensions

The cancellation of North Carolina's game against UCF this weekend because of Hurricane Florence will not impact the expected return date for 13 Tar Heels players suspended for selling Nike gear this offseason, the school confirmed Tuesday.

To recap CFB games being affected by Hurricane Florence. Cancelled: UCF at North Carolina, West Virginia at NC State. Moved earlier in day: Boston College at Wake Forest (now 5:30 p.m. ET Thursday on ESPN). Moved up: Coastal Carolina at Campbell (now Wednesday). Still on but being monitored: Marshall at South Carolina, Georgia Southern at Clemson, Old Dominion at Charlotte
