MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Mike White passed for 377 yards and five touchdowns, Juston Christian caught six passes for 217 yards and three scores, and the duo hooked up for a 32-yard game-winner in overtime as Marist outlasted Morehead State 44-41 on Saturday.
Marist (3-3, 3-0 Pioneer) took a 38-28 lead with 14:49 left in the fourth quarter when White found Joe Jordan for a 13-yard score. But Morehead State got a 3-yard TD run from Lawrence Jones and a 33-yard field goal with four seconds left to tie it at 38 and send it into overtime.
After Morehead State (2-5, 1-3) settled for a field goal, White and Christian connected on second-and-17 for their third score of the day. White's five TD passes and Christian's 217 yards and three TD catches were career bests.
Austin Gahafer passed for 325 yards, three touchdowns and three interceptions for Morehead State.
The teams combined for 999 total yards and 49 first downs.
