The Cavs are in a slump, no doubt about it. They have lost six of their past seven, with the only win a one-point verdict over the lowly Orlando Magic.
The Pacers also found themselves in a slump only weeks ago, but they have their rhythm again -- particularly with the return of All Star Victor Oladipo. Having won two in a row, they represent significant value in this game.
Indiana are on the road, and it's hard to bet against LeBron James given we all know what he is capable of, but that's exactly why we are playing it safe here. Back the Pacers at a line of +5.0 just in case the Cavs put up a bit more of a fight than they have shown recently.
The Raptors are a good team, but the $1.30 is too short to rush into here. Therefore we need to find a bit more value to make this game worth our while.
The Jazz aren't totally without a chance here, and that is why we are staying away from margin bets. The Raptors to lead at both half time and full time could be a safe bet at $1.65; It's not a massive price, but they have led at the half during four of their past five games. All we need is for the Raptors to be in front at the half. Even if the Jazz get on a run in the second, we can trust Toronto to come good in the end.
